Thank God for Grandma's

Last night Nana offered to watch RC and do his early morning feeding so Randy and I could get a good night sleep. That's the first time I've been able to sleep through the night since the last time Nana offered to watch RC when she came to visit us in TN. :) Before I went to bed I cunningly placed the baby monitor next to his playpen in Nana and Papis room. Mom wanted to keep an ear out for her little boy. I just wasn't sure I could do without those cute little sounds, sweet whimpers, hiccups etc. After everyone went to bed, Mom snuck a goodnight kiss from RC. I headed downstairs to hit the hay. I reached for the baby monitor and low and behold Nana had turned it off. Nana had outsmarted me. For a moment I thought about going back upstairs to turn it back on, but I couldn't get the strength to walk back up the stairs. I guess I needed the sleep more than I knew. I slept so good I woke up drooling on my pillow.

Thank god for grandma's :O)
